Subtitle: Training Opportunities

The EPF are committed to improving the standards of edge protection provision and to complement the recently introduced Code of Practice, we have now developed a generic training course.

The course delivers the core elements from the Code of Practice, EN13374, safe working on a leading edge including aspects of PFPE, the different systems available, main system components and common hazards.

A short written multiple choice question paper evidences the delegates understanding of the material delivered, and once completed, the course delegates are issued with a paper certificate and EPF Competence Card.

Companies approaching EPF members to provide this course can then undertake an individual product course incorporating a particular manufacturers system.

Your training provider will be able to assist you in registering.

Pre-requisites:

  • English language and basic ability to read/understand the multiple choice question paper
  • Competence and understanding in the correct use of PFPE / harness and lanyard systems

If you have any questions, please contact the EPF.
